What does an Invalid Address notification mean?
As part of our KYC process we review the address provided and ensure it is a valid permanent address. If our third party vendor is not able to validate the address we require further documentation from you.
Common Reasons for Address Failing
- The address is not in English
- The address has accent marks
- The address provided is a P.O. Box
- No postal/ZIP code
- Proof of address document does not match exactly with the address in the tax interview
If any of these apply to the address provided, it will fail. For address's not in English, please retake the tax interview and provide the exact translation of your address. The proof of address document DOES NOT need to be in English, but the translation must match.
